NJ senator says the measure will lower cost of prescription drugs, energy, health care
Democrats in Congress are on the verge of a historic win. In an overnight session into Sunday, the Senate passed a sweeping $740 billion climate, health care and tax package, strictly along party lines. Known as the Inflation Reduction Act, it makes one of the most consequential federal investments in history to combat climate change and lower the cost of prescription drugs.
