Justice Department Seized AP Phone Records to Track Leaks
The Justice Department secretly subpoenaed phone records of Associated Press journalists during two months in 2012. The AP was notified that records had been secretly seized for more than 20 of its phone lines, possibly to track government leaks of classified information about a foiled terror plot.
