Gov. Phil Murphy is pushing for approval of a new affordable housing fund, which would be created using federal American Rescue Plan funding. He joined other elected officials outside the Moorestown Mall Monday where new housing units will soon be built. The program, called the Affordable Housing Production Fund, is part of the governor's budget proposal and requires approval by the Legislature.
