For Cecilia Zalkind the 'permanency that every child needed, deserved' was a driving force

Cecilia Zalkind has spent the last 38 years working to protect children in need as part of the nonprofit Advocates for Children of New Jersey. That includes spending the last 25 years in leadership roles at the organization. It's work that has put her at the forefront of children's issues, including pushes for expanding free lunch programs and improving the state's foster care system.
