It’s part of an effort to see if lucrative tax incentives are benefiting residents

In what’s being hailed as a victory for activists, Camden leaders are now on board with new disclosure rules requiring companies with at least 25 employees to reveal how many of the workers they hire are city residents. It’s all part of a plan to see if lucrative tax incentives and other perks used to lure the corporations to Camden are actually benefiting the residents who live there.
