Doctors Add Appeals Process for Kids Waiting for Adult Lung Transplants
Two terminally ill children with end-stage cystic fibrosis are at the center of a battle about organ transplants. In Philadelphia, a federal judge decided that both kids, who are younger than 12, must be made more of a priority on a waiting list for adult lungs.
