(pea-rexes growling) Join us as we follow the adventures of Ginger, a young tricarrotops, and her unlikely little friends, three baby pea-rexes, Wasabi, Split, and Minty, as they discover the many wonders that exist in this vast valley!
- Woohoo!
This is Ginger and the "Vegesaurs"!
(gentle music) (Pea-Rexes grunting) - Mm-hm.
Mm-hm.
- [Narrator] Baby Pea-Rexes are incredibly strong for their size, but a little help from a Tricarrotops comes in handy.
(Ginger grunts) - (chuckles) This will be so much fun!
- Yay!
- Ha-hey!
(Pea-Rexes pant eagerly) - Ready?
- [Pea-Rexes] Oh!
Oh!
- And go!
(Pea-Rexes laughing) Run like the wind!
(exciting music) Oh, no.
- [Pea-Rexes] Ahhh!
(perilous music) - Slow down!
Run the other way!
(they pant) (Ginger panting) - [Pea-Rexes] Ahhh!
(all grunt) - Gotcha!
- [Minty] Ahhh!
(leaf splats) Oh... - [Narrator] Minty has landed in a cinnamon sapling.
(Minty yells) - Minty!
- [Narrator] Covered in sticky pollen means Minty will stick to anything.
Like the tail of an Appleflyus.
(Minty struggles) (Appleflyus buzzing) (lively music) - [Minty] Hello!
(Broccolisaurus grunts) Bye!
- [Bokchoydactyl] Huh?
- [Minty] Ahhh!
(soaring music) - Minty, we're coming!
Wherever you are!
- [Minty] Ahhh!
- [Narrator] But stickiness doesn't last forever.
(air whistling) - Ahhh!
(leaf boinks) (Minty clatters) - [Narrator] It's a baby Bokchoydactyl.
Although, unlike the adults, they are more playful and curious.
- Whee!
(soaring music) Yah!
(wings flapping) (soaring music) (Ginger panting then sniffing) - Urrr!
- Hi.
Just wondering if you've seen my friend.
- Urr?
- Small, round, kind of cheeky.
Looks a little like these two.
- Ho-ho, hi-hi!
- Mm-hm.
- Urr!
- Oh, that way.
Thank you so much.
- [Pea-Rexes] Eh-eh!
(curious music) (animals chirp and hoot) - Oh, no.
(water lapping) Hi!
- Urr?
- Just wondering if you've seen my friend?
Er... Small, round- - [Minty] Ah-hah!
Yeah!
Ah, hey!
- (gasps) Like that!
- [Minty] Woo-hoo!
Yay!
(exciting music) - Minty!
(Bokchoydactyl roars) - Hey!
I can help you catch your baby.
- Eh?
(soaring music) - Woo-woo!
(laughs) (Bokchoydactyl swoops) Oh, was that my foot in your ear?
Sorry!
(Wasabi whistles) - [Minty] Ahhh!
- There they are!
Go, go, go!
Whoo!
(laughs) - [Narrator] The baby Bok is having so much fun, it has no idea its mother is on its tail.
(jaws snapping) (Cucumberdile snarls) - [Ginger] Grr!
- [Minty] Whee!
Whoo!
(Ginger laughing) (wings flapping) - Ho-ho-ho-ho!
- Ooeh!
- Huh?
- Ooeh!
Ooeh!
- Minty, watch out!
(Baby Bok chirrups) - Uh-oh!
- [Narrator] They're on collision course for the volcano!
- Turn!
Turn!
Uh-oh!
(perilous dramatic music) Whoa!
(exciting music) (Baby Bok whooshing) Woo-hoo!
Whoo!
- Hee-hee!
- Whoa, that was a close one.
Let's go down now.
- Yeah, yeah.
(dirt scuffing) (Pea-Rexes coo and exclaim) (gentle music) - Thank you!
Bye!
We are so glad to see you, Minty.
- [All] Mwah!
(Minty gibbers) (mischievous music) - Oh, Minty!
Again?
(Minty grunts and giggles) And go!
- Yeah!
Yay!
- [Ginger] Hang on this time!
(gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) - [Narrator] Strong and tough, the Pineapplesaurus is the tank of this world.
(rocks clattering) They are pack creatures and prefer the company of other Pineapplesaurus above all else.
They do everything together; walking, grazing, and even sleeping.
(upbeat music) They also have a strong outer armour that lights up when struck.
It's not only a handy way of stopping nighttime predators, it also makes for a spectacular light show.
(creatures cheering) - [Narrator] It's the late Crunchiest period, when the world was dominated by the juiciest and freshest creatures ever to rule the planet, the mighty "Vegesaurs"!
(gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) (gentle music) It's springtime in Vegesaur Valley.
- Boo.
- Huh?
- [Narrator] And for many species of young vegesaurs, this means it is time to find a friend.
(vegesaurs moaning) (Baby Bokchoydactyle coos) Baby bokchoydactyls find their friend by playing games.
- Whoa.
- [Narrator] But without a doubt, the most extraordinary display of friendship finding belongs to strawberrisaurus.
They determine their buddy by performing a special dance.
(upbeat music) - Oh, I wonder why that one's not dancing?
(upbeat music continues) If the others like the dance, they stomp their feet.
(upbeat music continues) (strawberrisaurus moan) - [Narrator] Success.
They've each found a friend.
(majestic music) - Oh no, he's so nervous he can't dance.
Come on, maybe we can help.
Psst!
(strawberrisaurus groans) Hi, I'm Ginger.
You're doing great.
Mind if I help?
Follow my lead.
Stomp your feet like this.
(drum beats) Slide together.
(drum music) Turn around.
Stomp and shimmy.
(whimsical music) (Pea Rexes chatter) Now you try.
(Strawberrisaurus moans) Go on.
You got this.
(gentle music) (Strawberriesaurus gulps) (gentle music) That's it.
Keep going, now stomp, then the other foot.
(gentle music) (Strawberrisaurus thuds) - [Narrator] The Strawberrisaurus is about to give up.
- Wait, don't go yet.
(Strawberrisaurus groans) Perhaps we could interest you in a special dance from some really good friends of mine instead.
(Pea Rexes chatter) (upbeat music) - Ah.
(Pea Rexes chatter) (upbeat music continues) Whoa.
(upbeat music continues) I like it.
Just keep doing whatever it is you're doing.
(upbeat music continues) Be yourself.
Let it rip.
(upbeat funky music) (upbeat funky music continues) - [Narrator] Is this dance enough to earn a buddy?
(upbeat funky music continues) (upbeat funky music continues) (upbeat funky music continues) All are welcome to join the dance no matter how they groove.
- Woo, yeah, get it.
Best dance ever.
(upbeat funky music continues) - [Narrator] Well, it looks like these two young strawberrisaurus are going to be the very best of friends.
(gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) - Let's sing a song together.
(Ginger laughs) (bright music) (creatures chatter indistinctly) Hiya.
(Ginger giggles) ♪ Five Avocadodons running straight ahead ♪ ♪One went fast and banged his head ♪ ♪ Ginger heard a thump and then Ginger said ♪ ♪ Wow little one you've got a tough head ♪ Huh?
(creatures chatter indistinctly) ♪ Four Bokchoydactyl's flying in the sky ♪ ♪ One got lost and started to cry ♪ ♪ Ginger heard it sob and then Ginger said ♪ ♪ There's no need for tears we'll find your bed ♪ Huh?
(creatures chatter indistinctly) (creature gasps) - Yeah.
(creatures chuckle) ♪ Three Coconutdons racing in the grass ♪ ♪ One fell behind and came lucky last ♪ ♪ Ginger heard it whine and then Ginger said ♪ ♪ Don't be sad you can race me instead ♪ Huh?
♪Two Broccolisaurs grazing on the trees ♪ ♪ One stretched it's neck but it couldn't reach ♪ ♪ Ginger shook the tree and then Ginger said ♪ ♪ We'll knock down the blooms so you get fed ♪ Huh?
♪ One Kiwimammuthus sleeping in the snow ♪ ♪ A noise woke it up and it started to moan ♪ ♪ Ginger heard the moan and then Ginger said ♪ ♪ Hush my friend lay down your sleepy head ♪ Huh?
(creatures laugh) Huh?
(creatures laugh) (gentle orchestral music) (exciting music)
