She represents Wake County.
Being an author gives you an opportunity to use your voice.
The future has been shaped by those who have written.
Writing can be for everyone.
We wrote, "There Ought to Be a Law, A Bright Day at the State Capitol," because I wanted to highlight, in some form or fashion, this whole process and how it works.
I think it's important to teach young people about civics, because the legislature is gonna change the dynamics for a lot of things in their lives.
This place here will shape their lives forever.
