When you love a place you take care of it. And a lot of people love LaBagh Woods.
You could easily miss LaBagh Woods. It’s one of the smaller forest preserves in Cook County. And for many years it had been neglected. But migrating birds always loved it and that inspired a group of volunteers led by avid birder Jeff Skrentny to spend thousands of hours (so far!) restoring it. And the Forest Preserve District is always looking for more volunteers throughout Cook County.
