RICARDO: Yeah, this is great.
RASHIDA: Yeah, this is definitely a great first impression when you're showing off your luxury home, isn't it?
JEN: Yeah, really nice.
RICARDO: Yeah.
RASHIDA: Welcome to house number three in one of Gaithersburg's newer communities, between Rio and Downtown Crown.
You have amazing restaurants, you have your shopping, everything you could need is just over there, while you still have this park-like setting right here.
JEN: You can absolutely feel the newness in the air.
RICARDO: And I love new construction.
It's an end unit too, so you get a lot more light coming in.
RASHIDA: The end unit often has more opportunity to be larger and to have more window space.
JEN: This entryway really is feeling very elevated, and I'm really excited to see what else is in store.
RASHIDA: I'm excited for you to see what else in store.
There's the elevator, which you can take, but I'd love you to take the stairs up so you can see how it gradually just gets better and better.
Please, enjoy your tour.
JEN: All right.
RICARDO: All right, thanks, Rashida.
RASHIDA: Thank you.
JEN: Oh, this banister is nice.
RICARDO: Yeah.
Wow.
JEN: Wow.
The high ceilings in here, it just feels so lux.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
Yeah, I love this wainscoting above the windows, it's a great mix of old and new.
JEN: Yeah, and I really love this accent wall with this paneling, it really ties this room together.
RICARDO: Right and the quartz back panel here with the television and the fireplace is a delightful touch.
JEN: And so much light coming in from this beautiful balcony, which is a really big size.
But I can't help myself, I really need to get into this kitchen.
RICARDO: Let's get you into that kitchen.
JEN: Thank you.
JEN: Hello.
This island is incredible.
RICARDO: This is not an island, this is a continent.
(laughter).
JEN: Well, this continent has plenty of storage, it has our dishwasher and extra seating over here for your less formal meals, which is just perfect.
RICARDO: Yeah, I love the light fixtures too.
JEN: The gold leaf on the inside is really bringing some warmth to this hard quartz.
RICARDO: Yeah, and it's cohesive with the counter and the back wall, it's actually just one slab, which makes it so much easier to clean.
JEN: Absolutely.
It really makes this whole kitchen feel very modern and I'm really liking the color of these cabinets, they're not just a stark white... RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
JEN: They're accenting the gray in the marble vein.
And then, when we're done cooking in this amazing kitchen, we head right on over to our formal dining room.
This really is beautiful.
RICARDO: I love this light fixture, it's evocative of the light fixture that we saw in house number one but it elevates it to a whole new level.
JEN: Yeah, and I think all the color choices in this house are really smart.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
JEN: They differentiate each room, even though we have an open concept.
RICARDO: Right, and it highlights the color and the warmth in the floor.
JEN: Yeah.
RICARDO: And there's more to see upstairs.
JEN: All right.
RICARDO: Oh.
JEN: Oh, nice landing.
RICARDO: Yeah.
JEN: Great.
Let's see what's in here.
I really like how they have this designed as a little kid's room.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
I love this color.
JEN: Really pretty.
RICARDO: Yeah.
JEN: All right, what's behind the double doors?
RICARDO: We'll have to find out.
JEN: Okay.
Oh, wow.
RICARDO: Ooh.
JEN: This is great.
RICARDO: Yeah I love the amount of light that's coming into this room.
JEN: You're really feeling the benefits of the end unit in here.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
JEN: And enough room for a...
BOTH: Cali King.
JEN: Our favorite.
This is a great primary.
Something is catching my eye over here.
RICARDO: Oh, wow.
JEN: Oh, my gosh.
What closet have you ever seen that had its own crown molding?
There's also room for a full makeup station back here, so you don't have to be in the bathroom taking up space.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
I could spend a lot of time in here and I'm sure you could too but we've got more house to see.
JEN: Okay.
RICARDO: Come on.
No, you're kidding.
Look at that.
JEN: This is almost a triple vanity.
RICARDO: It's huge.
JEN: Ugh, and these mirrors are massive.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
This shower though, I love the black tile and the stone floor is luxurious.
JEN: Yeah, I would really like to feel the water under my feet on those stones.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
JEN: Well, I can't believe I'm saying this but I think there's another level, so it's my turn to drag you away.
RICARDO: Oh, all right.
(laughter).
JEN: Okay, so we have another bedroom up here on the top level.
RICARDO: Yeah.
Great guest space.
They've got it set up with two really big beds up here.
JEN: This might be perfect for a family with children.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
JEN: Everybody has space up here.
RICARDO: It looks like they've got a bathroom here too.
JEN: Great.
This is a really big bathroom for not being the primary.
RICARDO: Yeah, I love the amount of counter space you have here, I see that it's consistent with this dark hardware.
JEN: Yeah, I think it's a smart choice.
And this shower is so big, I love the door and the bench in there is really nice.
RICARDO: And because there's no window in here, the light tile work helps keep it bright.
JEN: Yeah.
Well, we made it to the top.
RICARDO: Yeah.
But in order to play the game, we've gotta find our way down and look for Rashida.
JEN: All right, well, I know of a good way we can get there.
RICARDO: Uh, I was hoping it'd involve the elevator.
JEN: And you're going down.
RICARDO: Uh-oh, I think that's a challenge.
Hey, Rashida.
RASHIDA: Hi, Jen and Ricardo, welcome back.
RICARDO: Love the elevator.
(laughter).
RASHIDA: I know, that must've been so exciting.
Tell me more about the rest of your tour.
RICARDO: Well, I absolutely love the amount of space that this property has to offer.
JEN: I mean, not only was it tall, with four levels, but it was wide.
RICARDO: And we can't forget the light fixtures too, in every room in the house, from the living room to the kitchen with the gold leaf, what a great touch.
JEN: And then we saw the closet in that primary, I thought we were gonna buy on the spot, to be perfectly honest.
He had to drag me out of there.
(laughter).
RICARDO: Yeah, it was enormous.
JEN: And each room had its own distinct color, really making this open concept feel very individual.
RASHIDA: So, this townhouse comes in with three bedrooms, three full baths, two half baths, the square footage is 2,544, and it was built in 2021.
RICARDO: I will say 1,500,000.
RASHIDA: Mm, okay.
JEN: Well, then I'm gonna go a little more conservative and I'm gonna guess 1.1 million.
RICARDO: Oh, all right.
JEN: Mm.
RASHIDA: This house comes in at $1,190,000.
RICARDO: Oh.
JEN: Woo, thank goodness.
RICARDO: That's a lie, I don't believe you, but congratulations.
JEN: Yeah.
RASHIDA: G-burg special.
(laughter).
RASHIDA: Looks like you're "Even Steven" now.
RICARDO: That's true.
JEN: It's a nice way to end the day.
RICARDO: Yeah, I'm happy with that.
