JEN: Oh, driving in, it's just such an idyllic-looking neighborhood, it really feels straight out of a storybook.
RICARDO: Yeah, I love that each home has its own unique feel.
You see a different roof line on every single property.
RASHIDA: That's a great observation because that's exactly what the community is meant to portray.
This is a single-family home community of almost 500 homes, built in the '80s.
As you can see, each home is designed to look very different from the others, outside and inside.
There's also a lot of great amenities.
You have Flower Hill Shopping Center and you have the Montgomery County Airpark, so if you have your own plane, you have a place to land.
RICARDO: Uh.
JEN: Great.
RICARDO: I was looking for a place to land my plane.
JEN: Good.
RASHIDA: Absolutely.
JEN: Well, we'll swing by there on the way home in your plane.
RASHIDA: Yeah.
RICARDO: Excellent.
RASHIDA: All right, enjoy yourself.
RICARDO: Thank you.
Oh, wow.
I like a traditional floor plan, I love a foyer with a high ceiling too.
JEN: Yeah, and I like the grandness of this foyer.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
JEN: There's so many different places to go, so why don't we just head this way?
RICARDO: Okay, let's go.
JEN: Okay.
Oh, this is an interesting space.
RICARDO: Yeah, this is a great-sized room.
JEN: Right now it's set up as dual offices, there's a lot of options on how to use it.
RICARDO: Yeah, this could be a perfect living room.
JEN: Library.
RICARDO: Library, yeah.
I love the crown molding also.
JEN: All right, we got a ways to go.
RICARDO: Let's go.
Okay.
JEN: Nice.
RICARDO: Nice formal dining room.
I like the two-tone effect.
JEN: I really like these little shelves too, you can really show off your china or your Lego.
Whatever your preference is really.
RICARDO: Definitely your Lego.
JEN: And I really like how the air vents match the floor.
I just think that that is such a neat little touch.
RICARDO: Yeah.
JEN: Let's go.
RICARDO: All right, I'm right behind you.
JEN: Okay.
Oh.
RICARDO: Oh.
Immediately, I am in love with these cherry cabinets.
It's also complementing these countertops as well.
JEN: Yeah, I'm really liking this kind of desert dusk feel, and I just noticed that there's, like, room for your cookbooks over here.
RICARDO: That's super thoughtful.
JEN: Yeah.
RICARDO: I'm in love with this pot rack.
This I did not have growing up.
JEN: It's also a great space saver, but my eyes are being drawn to this beautiful picture window, so why don't we head this way?
RICARDO: Absolutely.
JEN: Okay.
Oh, wow, look at this built-in, right off the bat, and all of the light from the picture window and the doors and the vaulted ceiling, this room is just feeling very joyful.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
Also, you can see this backyard from here, which looks pristine.
JEN: Yes, you could put a pergola out there.
RICARDO: It's the perfect place to bring people over and have a good time.
JEN: Yeah.
RICARDO: All right.
JEN: All right, let's head on up.
RICARDO: Let's go.
Oh, wow, look at this, Jen.
You've got a chair here, it's set up with a big bookshelf, what a great little reading area.
JEN: Aw, I really like the way this is set up as a mini library, really thoughtful idea.
RICARDO: Mm, do you wanna go left?
JEN: Let's do it.
RICARDO: All right.
JEN: All right, nice size bedroom.
RICARDO: Yeah, nice and comfy with the carpeting.
Looks like it's got those corner shelving features from the dining room area.
JEN: I think that's such a great use of a corner.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
JEN: This is a really neat little space.
RICARDO: Yeah.
JEN: Oh, I love this recess where the dormer window is.
RICARDO: Uh-huh.
JEN: I would love to just put a little chair in there, hideout.
RICARDO: You could make this into an office, this could also be an entertainment room too.
JEN: Yeah.
RICARDO: All right, there's more.
JEN: Okay.
RICARDO: This looks like a... Oh.
JEN: Ohh, skylight in your bathroom.
RICARDO: Bright and warm and it really makes every feature in this bathroom stand out.
I love the tile work in the shower.
JEN: I like the two different types of tile married together... RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
JEN: And the tile on the floor, while a little dark, it really works.
RICARDO: Yeah, it really does.
There's a little bit more house that we gotta look at.
JEN: Okay.
RICARDO: Come on.
Whoa.
This is impressive.
I am marveling at the way this room is set up.
JEN: The centerpiece here, the fan really kind of elevates the room.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm, and they have this bed set up here with the window, it's almost like a headboard of light.
JEN: It just fits perfectly.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
We need to go have a look at this.
JEN: Please, yes.
RICARDO: Wow.
JEN: Whoa, look at this massive tub.
RICARDO: It's insane how big that is and I love this dark stonework and these basins are really unique, I've never seen this before.
A lot to think about.
JEN: Yeah.
This one's gonna be really hard.
RICARDO: I cannot believe this is house number two.
JEN: Well, I think let's go find Rashida and get some redemption from game number one.
RICARDO: All right, let's do it.
JEN: Okay.
RICARDO: Hey, Rashida.
RASHIDA: Welcome back, guys, how was it?
RICARDO: I cannot believe this was just house number two.
JEN: Yeah.
RICARDO: And there is so much to talk about.
JEN: All of the colors in the kitchen really complemented each other to make a very warm and inviting space that I would absolutely love to work in.
RICARDO: And I think there are a lot of little tiny features in the house too, like the skylight in the bathroom upstairs that really make this house special.
RASHIDA: Yeah.
JEN: Yeah.
The built-ins, the corner shelves, just little touches that kind of make it unique, especially in the primary.
RICARDO: Oh, yeah, that headboard of light.
JEN: Oh.
RICARDO: What a great design feature, I mean, I know you could probably put the bed anywhere in that room, but setting it right there really highlighted the space.
RASHIDA: So, house number two comes in at four bedrooms, three-and-a-half bath, 3,262 square feet, including the basement, and it was built in 1989.
JEN: I'm gonna go 695,000.
RASHIDA: Hmm.
RICARDO: Oh, this time I'm gonna go a little less, I'm gonna say $678,910.
JEN: Six, seven, eight, nine, ten?
RICARDO: Yes, that's what I said.
RASHIDA: Wow, I love that.
The actual listing price is $685,000.
RICARDO: Whoa.
RASHIDA: So, Ricardo, you got this one.
RICARDO: Look at that, playing with the numbers really worked out for me that time.
RASHIDA: You're starting to know G-burg a little better.
RICARDO: I'm picking up what G-burg's putting down, yeah.
RASHIDA: So, Ricardo, you won this one, but, Jen, you have another opportunity with our next property.
Off to Rio we go.
JEN: Okay.
RICARDO: Oh, all right.
