Montgomery Village itself is a great community.
It's a community that was developed by the Kettler Brothers, their idea was a beautiful neighborhood community which encompassed lots of lakes and parks and things to walk to.
And I think that's exactly what they achieved.
JEN: It's not looking so much like condos, it looks like little houses.
RASHIDA: Yeah, definitely.
Well, it speaks to the feel of a community and a neighborhood less than high rises.
RICARDO: It also felt like we were driving into a shopping center, so it's residences within a shopping center?
RASHIDA: Absolutely.
There's even a path right here that takes you down into the shopping center, there's restaurants, foods from all around the world, there are grocery stores, everything you could think of.
RICARDO: Well, I am super excited to take a look inside.
Uh, once we do the tour, we'll see you afterwards for the game.
RASHIDA: Looking forward to it.
JEN: All right.
RICARDO: Thanks, Rashida.
JEN: I'm excited.
RICARDO: Okay.
JEN: Oh, hello.
Really nice and bright and certainly move-in ready.
RICARDO: Yeah, vinyl plank floors, easy to clean, durable.
JEN: Yeah, kids, pets, cooking.
And then I really like this living room.
The centerpiece though, this constellation starburst lighting fixture.
RICARDO: Yeah, fresh and modern also.
We also have a dining area here which is great, but I'm drawn to this kitchen area.
JEN: I really like these silver handles, this is an interesting shape, like, very modern.
RICARDO: Yeah.
JEN: And look, I can actually reach the tallest cabinet.
RICARDO: And I love these granite counters with a little sparkle in them.
JEN: Yeah, I like the geode feel to it.
RICARDO: Yeah, but it keeps it bright, especially with this light-colored subway tile.
JEN: I'm a little nervous about this all-white kitchen with any kind of splatter... RICARDO: Yeah.
JEN: But white was a good choice to make the room feel a little bigger and I think that they were thoughtful in all of the materials that they chose, all feel really easy to clean.
RICARDO: Let's keep looking.
JEN: Okay.
What's in here?
Whoa, this bathroom is massive.
RICARDO: This is a surprise.
JEN: Yeah, I like that the countertops from the kitchen conveyed, very consistent.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm, these light fixtures are great.
JEN: Yeah, that is really cool and I like the mirror.
I like the subway tile in the shower as well.
RICARDO: And the big tile on the floor actually makes the space feel bigger than it is.
JEN: Let's see if we can find any more surprises.
RICARDO: Good idea.
JEN: This is a really nice size.
RICARDO: Yeah.
I love this huge window that's kind of recessed, it feels like it gives you a little bit more space over here as well and look at... Two closets!
JEN: I gotta check this out.
RICARDO: Yeah, plenty of space, huh?
JEN: Let's see.
RICARDO: Look at this.
JEN: Whoa.
RICARDO: This is really nice.
JEN: Peek-a-boo.
RICARDO: Oh.
(laughter).
JEN: This is great.
RICARDO: That's even better, it's a pass-through, it gives you more storage.
JEN: Yeah.
Well, I think we have some things to think about.
RICARDO: It's time to go find Rashida and come up with some numbers.
JEN: All right, let's go.
RICARDO: All right.
JEN: Hey, Rashida.
RASHIDA: Welcome back, guys, how was your tour?
RICARDO: So many wonderful things about this property that people would love.
One of the first things I noticed was the floor.
I love this light vinyl, it opens up the space, but it has some fun texture and it's durable and easy to clean.
RASHIDA: The luxury vinyl plank is, like, all the rage, like, it's very pet-friendly, very often water resistant.
JEN: Yeah, I was a little hesitant about an all-white kitchen... RASHIDA: Yeah.
JEN: But looking at the materials that the builders chose, these all also look very easy to clean, which was a plus for me.
RASHIDA: And this light color lends to brightening and keeping the space looking as large as possible.
RICARDO: And I have to say, speaking about the larger space, that bathroom was enormous, that was a surprise, I was not expecting that.
And you have a really large bedroom back there with a great big window, letting in so much light.
JEN: And a pass-through, four-door closet.
RASHIDA: Isn't that awesome?
RICARDO: So, can you tell us what exactly is the condo fee here?
RASHIDA: It is 166.24 a month, right?
And that covers parking.
So, property number one is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom, 569-square-foot unit built in 2023.
RICARDO: Okay.
I will go first.
JEN: Oh, thank goodness.
(laughter).
RICARDO: I'm gonna say 303,000.
JEN: I'm gonna guess 299,500.
RASHIDA: Hmm.
RICARDO: Ooh, that is close.
RASHIDA: Okay, so this unit is actually 274,900.
RICARDO: Oh, no, we went over.
JEN: I cannot believe we both went over, what a deal.
RICARDO: That is a great deal though.
RASHIDA: You get that right here in G-burg.
RICARDO: Well, I am excited to see what else G-burg has to offer, I cannot wait to see house number two.
