JON: What a view, right?
JEN: You were right about the dynamite views.
I can't think of a better word to describe it.
JON: You're actually looking at the entrance to Gambrill State Park.
We're also just minutes from Interstate 70 and only five short miles to downtown Frederick.
JEN: That really is the best of both worlds.
JON: Absolutely.
You feel like your own little retreat here, but you're not far from everything.
RICARDO: Can I just say how much I'm in love with this porch, too?
JEN: Yes.
RICARDO: I mean, we're elevated so you can really take advantage of this amazing view.
JON: And this, all the way down to the road is all the land for you.
It's a little over three and a half acres, which is really rare in Frederick to have a house this close to everything but also a lot that is this big.
JEN: Wow.
RICARDO: Three and a half acres, are you kidding?
JON: You guys have enjoyed the outside, are you ready to take a look inside?
RICARDO: Absolutely.
JEN: Yeah.
JON: All right, enjoy.
JEN: All right.
JON: All right.
JEN: See you in a bit.
Ooh, wow.
RICARDO: This is a really large entryway.
JEN: It's wide.
RICARDO: Yeah.
You've got your traditional floor plan here, got separate spaces for each room.
JEN: I'm not sure where to start, so I'm thinking we just bank left?
RICARDO: Let's bank.
JEN: Okay.
Oh, okay.
RICARDO: So, this is a great big room.
I think this could be a good living room.
JEN: Yeah.
I love the natural light and the view.
RICARDO: So classy.
JEN: But let's see what else we've got.
RICARDO: Okay, let's go.
JEN: We'll keep banking left.
RICARDO: Okay.
JEN: Oh, this is a second living room, right?
RICARDO: It does feel like a second living room.
JEN: This one's right off the kitchen, so maybe... RICARDO: This could be like a den.
JEN: Yes.
RICARDO: I'm in love with this fireplace.
And check out that mantle.
JEN: I wanna decorate it so bad.
RICARDO: Yeah.
I love that you have this view to the backyard.
JEN: And I do love how close this is to the kitchen so why don't we make our way?
RICARDO: Yeah, okay.
JEN: All right.
This is bringing me back.
It's dated but in the best possible way.
RICARDO: Oh yeah.
JEN: So much storage in here, especially with the island.
And when I was younger, all I wanted was a window over my sink.
I love looking out.
And then you can see this custom tile.
RICARDO: It's fun, you've got this great pop of color.
JEN: But I have to comment on this railing.
RICARDO: I would probably update the cabinets if I lived here.
JEN: Yeah.
RICARDO: And maybe I would take that out.
I don't know, do you love it?
JEN: No, I would 100% take it out.
And then I think my eye spies a dining room.
Ooh, this is nice and big.
RICARDO: You've got this chair rail, got the crown molding.
JEN: Oh.
RICARDO: It just feels like you wanna have a big dining room table here under this beautiful light fixture.
JEN: But I think it's gonna be a fight on where to sit in here.
RICARDO: Oh, I'm sitting on this side of the table.
JEN: 'Cause everyone's gonna wanna be looking out.
RICARDO: I wanna see this view, yeah.
JEN: What if we put a huge mirror here?
That would make it fair.
RICARDO: We could all enjoy the view.
JEN: Why don't we see how the views look from the second level?
RICARDO: Right behind ya.
JEN: All right.
RICARDO: Wow.
JEN: This is a nice size room.
RICARDO: Yeah.
I love this color.
When I was younger, I painted my room like a lighter blue, so I'm kinda here for anything blue.
JEN: Yeah.
Let's check out this bathroom.
RICARDO: Oh yeah.
JEN: Oh, now this bathroom is my favorite color.
RICARDO: And this is a very big bathroom.
JEN: Yeah.
This vanity, a little dated, but it's not bothering me.
Especially with kind of the more modern flooring.
RICARDO: The plank's a little thinner than the floors downstairs.
But it's a great mix of light and dark.
JEN: Very nice.
I'm thinking maybe these rooms are kinda similar.
Why don't we split up?
RICARDO: Okay.
JEN: All right.
RICARDO: Sounds good.
JEN: So, what do you see in there?
RICARDO: Oh, it's more of these beautiful floors.
I might change the color of the walls.
But really big closets and beautiful views of this backyard.
JEN: I also have a pretty big room, that I really like.
Also huge double closet, but I have two windows with the amazing front view.
So, I think I'm the winner.
RICARDO: It's no competition yet.
JEN: Why don't we go and check out that primary?
RICARDO: Okay.
JEN: 'Kay.
Whoa, this is big.
RICARDO: Good gracious, this is big.
Plenty of space in here for a California King, easy.
JEN: Yeah, maybe two.
RICARDO: I'm curious to know what's going on in here.
JEN: Whoa.
This goes all the way around.
RICARDO: What?
JEN: There's room in here for dressers.
And with some natural light.
And then leading to this amazing en suite.
RICARDO: Got the jacuzzi tub.
JEN: I think the Fleur-de-Lis tile is very special, and then also the double glass sliding door shower.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
JEN: That's what I had growing up.
RICARDO: All right, time to find Jon.
JEN: Yeah.
RICARDO: It's time to play game number two, maybe get you some redemption.
JEN: I hope so.
And I'm really hoping maybe we can play the game on the patio.
RICARDO: I'm gonna follow you.
JEN: Okay.
I'm so glad we got to meet you back out here on this patio.
It's amazing.
The stone levels, it's all fenced in... JON: All the space for entertaining, inside and out.
RICARDO: Yeah.
JEN: If you buy this house, you have to have the Super Bowl party.
That's just the deal.
JON: Absolutely.
JEN: You know what I mean?
RICARDO: And can we talk about the primary and that walk-in closet?
JEN: Gigantic.
JON: Beautiful, right?
RICARDO: That could be a bedroom.
JON: Right.
JEN: Yeah.
JON: It's huge.
JEN: And the flow of that kitchen, perfect.
JON: Right.
So this house has four bedrooms, two and a half baths, over 3600 square feet including the basement, and was built in 2001.
JEN: I'm gonna guess 944,000.
RICARDO: Well, I'm gonna say 898,000.
JEN: Okay.
JON: All right.
The actual list price is... $689,000.
RICARDO: What?
JEN: With all this land?
JON: With all this land.
RICARDO: All this space?
JON: Absolutely.
You get a lot more bang for your buck in Frederick.
JEN: I'm shocked by that.
