Blackwater Wildlife Refuge, home to several species of birds,, is fighting for its life. Birds take refuge in this Maryland wetland for most of the year. But the marshes are disappearing. Active wildlife management is trying to keep this refuge alive and preserved for the many birds need its remote wilderness, including the endangered falcon and eagle.
